Free stealth escape game
Jail Break Roblox is a free escape game created by Stickmasterluke in 2009 and last updated in 2010. It features different levels where you need to break out of jail without anyone catching you. Unfortunately, the controls don’t always seem to work so well, leading you to remain stuck without a solution.
Other games you can try on Roblox are It Lurks, Jaws, and Prison Tycoon. These games are more exciting and at least give you some sense of satisfaction. It may be due to the developer’s lack of interest in updating Jail Break that some levels don’t work and the character won’t crouch.
Tricky levels and faulty mechanics
While most games can be challenging to master on the gaming platform, Jail Break for Roblox may confuse you with its subtle simplicity. You’ll find yourself in various rooms with ways to escape to the next area. Sometimes, there will be other prisoners who have clues, but why they haven’t escaped themselves defies logic.
The most frustrating aspect of Jail Break on Roblox is the controls. Where the ‘c’ button is usually used to crouch, it doesn’t always seem to work. Since this is the key you need for the first level, it can be understandable if you'd want to quit from the start.
Fixed camera
In most Roblox games, the camera follows you around while you walk and perform actions. Jail Break tries something different with a fixed camera. Sure, you can still turn the view around, but it won’t follow you as you climb up items or interact with objects in some cases. It gives the game a retro horror feeling.
No longer updated
Due to the developer no longer performing updates since 2010, you’ll probably not receive much support. There’s only one badge to attain, and that’s for escaping the prison. It doesn’t feel like much of an incentive to play Jail Break.
Escaping the prison
Jail Break is not to be confused with Jailbreak, which is a completely different and more enjoyable game on Roblox. This version can be infuriating at times, and there are better titles to spend your time on within the gaming platform.
If you do manage to complete the game, you can sport the Escapee batch that a few others were able to attain. Perhaps you’ll have better luck with the controls.
